The first stop of my one-city summer book tour is Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI* at the 23rd Biennal Conference on Chemical Education, where I'll be presenting my first ever talk on why I was dumb enough to spend four-plus years writing my own textbook.

(*If you don't know where Allendale is, simply hold up your right hand, palm facing forward. Then slap yourself and remember that you're at a computer and can easily Google this information).

I'll be giving a talk Wednesday afternoon, and I'm planning to tell folks that they can come here to learn more about the book. And since I'd rather not have the first thing they see be a semi-psychotic post on the last Transformers movie, I thought I'd go ahead and put my PowerPoint slides up to all who might be interested.

Early thanks to any that show up for the talk.
